Loss calculation

On turbo, I generally lose about 1.5 - 2x more than the attacker, whether they break or not. Is this normal? I thought it was defender's advantage.

It wasnt always like that, but i believe it is the same on reg. I think the defender should always have the advantage unless the oppossing force has double or triple the defenders army. But anything less than double the defenders should not be losing more overall IMO.

Something is majorly wrong here, can you check the code hasn't gone funky?

btw,

If you don't break with all groups, it comes up as being repelled, even though you still get land.

For me its the opposiet - if three groups break but one doesnt, i get green messages but no land.

That's not the issue in this post though, the issue is that I am losing far more than I should be to attackers. And so is Holby. Either there's a bug, or eople have been leaving troop holes for so long that it was never an issue. Either way, there's something wrong here.

That does not back up your statement, but I also know that the loss rate for rats is something like 3x other troops. Perhaps if you could give us some more examples?

It averages about to the defender losing about 50% more than the attacker...

EDIT:

Keep in mind that the attack almost certainly did not have 100% health each attack, and so while I don't think that the difference is quite 1.5x, after health is taken into account it probably is at least that great.

low attacker health should raise attacker losses compared to defender, not vice versa.

I think you read that too fast. Or I'm just bad at conveying my meaning.

I was supporting you.

But now I bring new evidence to the table. When I was attacking the lower players, (the really low ones) I was losing between 10 and 20 times what they were. That was at about 40% health. So I think that there is a weight factor depending on NW, and it may be over-powered towards the attacker once the NWs get within a certain range (over 100 mil, I'm thinking?)

I think you were just losing so much to the little guys becuase your army was many many times bigger by comparison, and so percentages were bigger. I am more concerned about two similarly sized armies attacking - the defender should have a loss advantage of the armies are on the same order of magnitude, i think.
