Negative troops

Today at one stage of my run I had very low health, but decided to try an attack on somoene whom I presumed would have very few rats, but I was beaten so badly, I ended up with negative troops lol:
After a failing struggle, your army is repelled by *******'s defenses.In the attempt, you lost:
240,644 Rats
In their defense, *******. lost:
11,694 Rats

This was actually in reg.
It only displayed the negative reading at the bottom of the attack page, and once I went to the Army Status page it had fixed back to 0.
Still, I was a little surprised to lose every single one of my rats - health was approx 25.

It is the first time its happened to me though, perhaps its just a one off error.
