There has been an error when you sign in to your clan forum. It says authorise me or such when it should be authorize

au?thor?ize    (?th-rz)
tr.v. au?thor?ized, au?thor?iz?ing, au?thor?iz?es
To grant authority or power to.
To give permission for; sanction: the city agency that authorizes construction projects.
To be sufficient grounds for; justify.

I thought you would like to know

"There was a squirell named Pesselus,
who weighed less than all of us.
He was really fast
And was known now and the past
There was a squirell name Pessulus
who weighed less than all of us!"

Solarius

"Authorise" is the British spelling, ya Yank.  But there are a lot of errors.
*Vermin Chieftain Solarius*
*Commanding Officer, Imperial Regiment #6*

calria

I thought that the differences in British and American spelling only amounted to the odd "u" in certain words. I suppose I was wrong.

And if anyone calls me a Yank, I'll glare at them. *chuckle* I know it's the British term for an American, but to me it's a serious insult. *sits in a former Confederate capital and spins*

baransarn

Well excuse me my French, or in this case English. I am only trying to see that our Forum does not have any errors. And Im not a Yankee, I am an American! :D

Kilkenne

I already don't like you, baransarn...you're only spreading the forums with a thin layer of stupid now. And if you are american, then YES, you are a yank, fool.

calria

I tend toward agreeing with you, Kilk.
Are you sure that the layer of stupid remains thin, though? I see it creeping... it thickens... AAAAHHHH!!!!

Dead Eye

He is annyoyinh all ready. oh and all you people who don't want to be called a yank should be shot. I AM A YANK AND I AM PROUD OF IT!

You grow up in the deep South, where the confederate flag's flown more often than the other one, and see if it doesn't grate against you.

I swear, East Texas is it's own little country. What they said in Sweet Home Alabama about Alabama is right about anywhere in the South. You need a passport to come down here.

baransarn

I do not mean to be pestering no one and I do apologize if I am spreading a thick layer of stupidty. I do not know how I am doing this with only 8 posts. (Yank, American...same difference) And for my defense, I only wish not to annoy somebody and I don't know how spelling error (In the American English) would be so heated.

I never said I didn't take pride in being a Yank, but I felt it as a derogitory becuase of history and I felt as if I was being looked down on, not that I dont take pride in being a Yank.

I should never have said anything.
*slaps self and shuts up*

baransarn

You shouldn't blame yourself that I was annoying, I accept the comment and I shouldnt have started the thread knowing British spelling was different.
