Are you [wash my mouth out!!!] serious? You can SEE who edits them, does it say "User: Death" on any of the changes?

I love how because I edited one profile I get blamed for them all, even when the person who did it already mentioned it. That's some strong intelligence.

Edit, Wolf even said "Relic". I don't touch the Wiki, because I was bitched at by a collective community for doing something that ended up being done anyways. You all wasted too much of my time with it.

And Wolf, stop trying to make it into a big deal. They didn't follow the guidelines, one word got changes, boo hoo. You are all free to make your profiles satisfactory, you know?

I have determined that trying to discuses and debate with some people is like trying to have a debate with "the lost boys" from peter pan.

Debater 1 says:
"I think that global warming is true based on the emissions report and the temperature difference."

Debater 2 says:
"I think you are a yellow bellied liver loving flea on a toad's behind?

Some examples of bad debating:

Attacking and insulting the person rather than addressing the issues
Never addressing the issue
Refusing to respond to pertinent facts
Using non-relevant facts to try to make some connection
Not stating the underlining facts to reach a conclusion
Repetitively restating an unsubstantiated conclusion as if it is a fact
Being unwilling to even consider the other person's ideas

Frankly, trying to reach a meeting of the minds or convince a person who is unwilling to actually debate is a waste of time.

Nobody is going to debate it with you, because there is nothing to debate. The guidelines are clear. If they think they were edited without cause, they can contact the Admin of the Wiki, I bet it does a lot better than complaining on a forum he doesn't even use.

You know what, make your oven profiles if you want, send them to your game admin.
He will check the profile, edit it if needed and post it in WIKI.

sounds good but other people on the wiki might edit it like relic has already done :-\

Sircarius, The problem is that some immature people will still go in and edit them as a form of a personal attack.

I am aware to that problem. Why not to try to forbid for users to edit other profiles?
Appoint users from each site that represent that site, and, only they will have the option to edit profiles.

Let the Admins from each site that power to. Also, the Admins of each site will choose the user that will be in charge of that.
Then, the Admin of REDWALL transfer the information about the user they choose to the Admin of WIKI. The Admin of WIKI give him the necessary power at WIKI.

You are right! I offered that on the top of page 6 of this topic. Thus if they want to keep control, then they must use the same rules to their friends as they would if someone else.

I pointed out violations to the rules by their friends, they refused to correct them.
They go out of their way to edit our information.
They vandalize our accounts and should be banned for it.

If you edit a profile on wiki unpurpose just to insult somebody you deserve to have your profile removed and be banned from editing. This is highly immature from all these players, and thats coming from me! :P

Wolf.. I'm not debating it with you, I'm not even trying to. But I mean, the guidelines are very clear. "Is a skilled player" is clearly an opinion, I don't know how you can't see that.

But.. no, no. You keep trying to make it so that you have some authority on the Wiki, when your profile was one of the worst examples of rules being broken. I mean it's not like everyone is just singling out Redwall, there have been other profiles with problems, it's just the worst ones people notice are Redwall players. If you don't like it, make another Wiki.

To anyone who had their profile edited by Relic, adding the word "average" was a mistake imo, but removing skilled goes right along with the guidelines and I'm not alone on this one, I'm just the only person who cares to try to explain it to you. This is why I recommended having someone else write your profiles, to avoid problems like this.

I really don't see why I'm the one getting bitched at though, when I'm not the one who edited them. I mean Firetooth.. come on, it's immature for people to enforce the rules that are set in place? One person made a duck, but don't let Wolf do what he's trying to do, which is convince you that there is some huge community of people wanting to make RWL look bad on the Wiki. We want to help everyone get all of their content on it.

I don't "know" it's a mistake, I think it is one. As in, it is one in my opinion.

And because saying someone is average is just as much against the rules as saying someone is great.

I don't see what me posting the IP matters when I didn't post the username to match, and everyone here can get the IP with like 3 clicks, but fair enough, sorry.

And they made a childish edit to Wolf Bites' profile, that shouldn't even exist. I mean if Wolf doesn't mind it existing now that's great, but otherwise... yeah. Not a huge deal either way, he can handle it.
