Heh, you're one to talk about online attacks being cowardly, Snare, considering how you hit me the other day in a similar manner.

And so far as I know, I am not abusing any "bug" in the code.

(Finally, he didn't hand the game away--I saw the amount of cash Snare had, and it wasn't near sufficient to counter the amount I have).

and what about the rest of us, i think we wouldve oushed him well clear

What do you mean? If you mean several people all sending their stuff to Snare for the end of the set, then, sure, you might very well have had a chance (although not overwhelmingly so).

lonewolf1817

well basicly what he did to me was wrong.... i made him pay for it. i may not get the spot i wanted for teh end of the game, but he certainly wont get #1 position....  and that was my form of punishment.

Actually we have only been aiding him in the past few days, I am the only one sending him stuff atm and I have only sent 500m net worth. He caught up to you in food by himself in under a week.

Considering that I have also been onlined poisoned twice...well....

As for catching up in net, that's cause I switched over to cash, which I have tremendous abundances of.

And you never said what "bug" I was abusing, shadow.

Don't get cocky yet. Your strat so far has taken no skill, just a half decent understanding of one aspect of the math of the game. If Peace has done his job right (and he has, from what I hear), you are in for a rude awakening when the new stoat comes out.

But that's beside the point. Seems to me this all started from a foolish misunderstanding - Snare was in the middle of a rnu but didn't refresh after turns came, so he didn't show up as online. You attacked him in mid run, for which he retaliated. What you did recently was a cowardly overreaction to a misunderstanding. Don't get cocky about your actions if you are afraid to clan.

The bug you are abusing is more of an error in the code that is being fixed. I have pointed it out in numerous other topics.

As for Peace changing the code...I'll adapt when it happens, just like I adapted when Stoat first came out and ruined Wolf (which was the race I always used to use).

(Oh, but if it takes absolutely no skill whatsoever, why aren't other people employing it as successfully as I am? You could, potentially, say that no strat takes any skill whatsoever, simply an understanding of the math which governs the game).

lonewolf1817

as this convo goes on im beinging to beive ur right and that this did start at a missunderstand.... but there was nothing cowardly about waht i did.... i saw a opening and took advantage of it.... i "played the game correctly"

Did recently? May I ask what you're talking about? And Snare /never/ told me that I hit him in the middle of a run.

And I'm not "afraid" to clan; there's simply no benefit to be derived from it.

read "effective leadering" and than read "troop training" and put 2 and 2 together. I am referring to leader losses and how they are affected by training settings. You know this as well as I do, stop pretending to be dumber than you are.

The clan comment was directed at lonewolf. As for you clanning, I would bet good money that you never will. I'll believe it when I see it. There are plenty of benefits from clanning - if you worked with someone who knew what they were doing you could have double your net easily. I regret wasting so much time messing up other people when I could have been netting now, but it's only turbo I suppose.

Online attacking is for someone without the skill to take someone down any other way. It is cowardly. End of story.

I currently use 6% Leader training, as I started using it before your post, and only for the attack benefits.

I'm still not entirely convinced that it actually /does/ reduce the losses in leader suicides. (But, anyway, I've won plenty of sets before where I kept Leaders to 0 most of the set).

Shadow

If it didn't reduce leader losses you would have been ruined long ago. We will see how things play out with the changes. The game is far from balanced right now, hopefully it will improve soon. From what I've heard recently, the development team is doing a great job. This is slightly OT though. Lonewolf, join a clan so I can kill you.
