Happy Thanksgiving!!

So what are all you guys' plans for Thanksgiving? What food are you having?

My family's going to my mom's friends to meet up with a couple other families, so there's definitely gonna be a TON of food there.....I just finished cooking the cornbread stuffing. =D It's awesome.

Ahh for a syart im always on when haven't got school, and im not american so i don't know hwat thanksgiving is, sounds kool though. If it's like our christmas i have too many food to mention but the best is roast turkey!!!

I played Guitar Hero 2 and Halo 2 with my cousins all day.

Other than that, hung out with my family, ate, watched a movie this eve, played some games... meh.

Pippen - thanksgiving was started as a day to thank God for providing a good harvest, as celebrated by the Puritan Pilgrims who settled at Plymouth.  It has, for some, (religious types of the Christian variety, like myself, and some other religious - deistic types) a time to give thanks to God not just for harvest, but for all He's given. For others (of the non-religious/non-deistic persuasion), it ranges from a time of thankfulness to family/friends/fate/nothing in particular to a time to get together with family and friends to an excuse to eat a ton of food and lie around all do doing nothing. Or some combination thereof.

And yeah, it's generally celebrated with a major feast, hanging out with family/friends, etc.

I may be wrong... but I think the Pilgrim Fathers sailed from Plymouth... =/

Yes, that was their final stopping point before arriving in N. America.
