Also, ever played Rome Total War and/or Medieval Total War? Friggin great games. Possibly one of the best strategy games ever imo...

Pretty similar overall, but I like it better, because it was the first of the Total War series that I've played.

Where's Risk, Axis & Allies and Chess?

or Warhammer (though spending all that time painting got old fast)

Warhammer's great (I play Dark Elves/Empire). So is Axis and Allies, but I got extremely frustrated trying to beat those last few missions...
