Security Issue - Read Please!

Every time i go to rovl.org i get a message from my virusscan saying that it blocked a program called

trojandownloader:JS/Psyme.gen

it happens every time i go to rovl... it's quarantined so it's no threat but whats that all about?

Oh, I know what that is. It is when the left side attaches to the right side of the ? or another way to put it is that the thingy with the  ? Ummm, the downloadable sub program of the main program?s sub program is corrupted with the main program?s data string that is ?   

Maybe I will just let someone else explain it.  Are you sure you are not using a corrupted book mark? Try typing directly in to ROVL.org.

i dont use a book mark, i always type rovl.org

i just bookmarked the login page so now i dont have to go through rovl, but is it a threat?

I went to Rovl again by accident and it downloaded something called "Exploit:JS/MS06014.I" as well

the exploit was deleted by my virusscan, but what is that.......................

Above I was joking at knowing what it was or is. most of the people of this community know more about programs than I and Shael has not heard of it.  Lets see if Retto pops in?

and i just downloaded spybot to be axtra sure about the spyware aspect of things - my pc is so clean it sparkles :-D

I wasnt trying to create one, really
I cannot duplicate the problem, assuming it still exists, as I do not have an active windows install (lost part of my raid and shut the whole thing down, running off a spare drive)
Fedora 7 is fairly impressive though = D

edit., for good measure:

this seems a good time to say:

if you do not already have antivirus, please download avg
if you do not already have an adware scanner, please download Ad-Aware
if you do not already have a spyware scanner / startup list editor, please download Spybot
if you do not have a decent browser (still using IE) please go get firefox
if your system is not fully uptodate, go to ms update
edit:  if your system does not already have a good firewall [not just windows firewall] go get Zonealarm

those are my sugguested programs, all are free for personal use.
the internet is full of bad crud, you dont nessisarily have to go to bad sites to get infected.  protect your computer = )

I'm good, Ive got Ad-Aware, SpyBot and Windows Live OneCare, as well as using online check from Norton and WoC occasionally

Microsoft left all those nice little holes where the crud gets in and you trust virus protection and a firewall from them?

oh, just a note that if you switch Spybot to advanced mode there's a registry checker and most important for me a startup editor.  Nice tools that people seem to overlook
