Taking cities

ive been here since the first era, but ive only played maybe 6 rounds

thanks for the cities guide - i was approaching it from the wrong angle apparently - does that mean that it doesnt matter what the defender's leader ratio is?

Well, the leaders factor into total defense, but, apparently, ratio does not.

well i never really tried to get anywhere in the game until these last 3 rounds, before that i was just a mediocre player at best.... its starting to pick up now that i run with an aim in mind

Ive been here a few more than that plus i played like 3 years ago, but i was very medicore!

I'm actually pretty sure that you need something like 2.03 ratio or something. It was so high that I just gave up.

Also, when you demolish cities, it does not charge you what it says it will...

It actually doesn't take any of your money...

I was also wondering, does anyone know the math behind the cost of creating a city?

not the math of it, but I know the more of each requirement you possess, the more it will cost you.

i think 15 million leaders and 110 million stoats could have done it (i never fully ran the math but the estimated OP/DP seemed about right) ... i was most of the way there too until alazar messed things up

you really should have robbed my account before killing it, you missed out on 100 billion cash :P

lol... just out of curiosity, would i have been able to take the city with 110mil stoats and 15mil leaders as your army was when i died?

Small amount of cash it may be, but it would have been easier to steal it then to make that same amount yourself

Maybe not for you snare considering ive seen you with over 500bil on many occasions in many other rounds, but ive seen you with lots of other things also! :wink:
