Some of you may have noticed our new site got suspended due to exceeding CPU. I'm not sure why it happened, but I assure you I'm doing my best to figure it out as diligently as I can.

WF:  I think during a certain time each day, the turns are upped to 75 per 10 mins because this happened around the same time yesterday I believe.

The scores page was probably part, if not all, of the problem, so it's been temporarily taken down.

The main rovl.org site is down because the databases are down, and that I have no control over. I'm hoping that after waiting, everything will be fine.

The redwallwarlords.com site is up, but turns are not running, and I'm not sure why. I still don't know exactly what caused the CPU usage to go over.

Lastly, I'd politely like to mention that I'm the only one doing anything to fix both servers. I'm not pointing fingers at the other admins at all, neither of them are really experienced in handling code or websites like this (to tell the truth, neither am I), I'm just underlining the fact that there is an enormous amount of stress on me right now, what with everyone piling code errors and malfunctions on me since Friday, and then the two server crashes today.
I've spent dozens of hours trying to get this new round up and running for everyone to play, and my family and friends know this, because they haven't seen me away from the computer much in the past two weeks. And I am disappointed and sorry that this round didn't turn out that great (mostly meaning the CPU thing).

The week begins tomorrow, and I have a life (busy from 9-5 every weekday), and I regret that I can't give RWL the dedication it needs right now. But when I have time, I'll do my best to get it up and running again.

Hey, that's cool Shael, but since that is the case, might we get a new admin who can code and has the time to devote to RWL? It just seems like we need a spare for these sorts of problems.

yer funny volkov, seriously.  sometimes it took weeks to get retto to look at something, shael said she'll get to it soon
she's busy, and has done a good job getting things together

I can look at code, I can tell what it does for the most part, but I'm near worthless trying to figure out bugs and such.  I've also got a 9-5 job and other obligations that come before anything internet related
if you're volunteering to have a go volkov I'm sure we can set something up

I do suspect that after hitting the cpu barrier several times bluehost cutoff the cron that runs the turns and has probably sent an email to that effect, it shouldnt be a big deal getting everything running again.

Yes, and I was fed up with Retto taking weeks, I was glad for the change. Shael said she'd get to it soon, OK, well, why can't we have someone who can fix it right now? Shael has done a good job, I'm not saying she hasn't. I just think it would be of benefit the game to have someone who can fix stuff like this at any time. I'm not very good at coding, I wasn't volunteering, I was just making a suggestion.

Shael has done a great job! She like many others has a 'life' and will get to it, i can wait but Volky has a point it would be nice for a person who could fix stuff right away *nudges shade*
