ya, i get confused too... like why do they underfund schools that are in impoverished parts of the country when they clearly need funding more then other schools??

Last I heard, schools got something like $60k per student. And at least 60% of that went towards "administrative costs". Obviously, it's not a problem of funding.

Public schools in America are government funded. So you pay for them through taxes. Probably less efficiently then paying for them out of pocket, but, eh...
