Long ago, I remember being so upset when I first came out of protection and some guy named Rat attacked me 5 times. I spent 3 weeks slamming him. hehe.

I joined near the end of the first era, people were grossing 1 mil NW and i still remember when my real life friend sent me 1 million rats and i was VERY impressed that he had a spare 1 million rats.

Thats what got me goin on my rat strategy. I miss rat massing!!

my first set (was at QMT)
I tried to run in the green for cash and agri, while still producing my own troops (had no concept of different strats.
then someone told me to try running in the red, just produce troops and sell troops to fund turns (basic indy strat)
so I suicide STD'd someone that pissing me off, deleted, recreated (mid set) and finnished in 9th (had over 150 people in playerbase back then)

have specialized as an indy ever since

My first set.. I built everything equal, and was very proud of myself when I hit 4th place, at like 20 mil NW. This was well before any sort of specialized strats were invented. That was the one any only time I kept everything in the green. When I came back, I quickly learned about leader strategies, and how to be effective at them.

I remember everyone was amazed in First Era at how much Stormy had...such as his 60 bil dollars. I remember when he gave everything to me, I felt too rich and just gave a ton of it away. Eventually, I went bankrupt. =p
