I kinda like to beta test myself, gives you a look at the new features..  and its more or less an easter egg hunt, only you're looking for bugs  :-D

though honestly I dont forsee a problem, one of the reasons for limiting the number of people testing is the test server itself.
for those interested, she's a roughly 8 year old HP Pavillion, has a 400mhz P3, a harddrive liberated from a dead xbox, and is stuffed fairly gracefully into a vcr shell (size reasons, the old case was just too massive).  She's currently running CentOS 5 (linux) which is basically Redhat's RHEL

why are we using a box like that?  'cause retto's host dont like us, and retto wont let us turn the turns to every 10 min again.  beta testing with turns every hour is..  slighly less fun.

Just a note about Bata testing. The idea is not to see how well YOUR strategy will work on the new game.  The idea is to try to do things you should not be able to do. Such as trying to attack yourself. Demolishing and rebuilding over and over to see if any land gets lost. Sending more aid then it tells you that you can. Running without money and see if the right about of army is lost each time. Find unintended ways to use the new features.  Etc ?

Thanks for pointing that out to everybody. I personally have BETA tested before, and I know what to look for. only problem is, I started to help out half a month ago from my sisters computer, and I've not got the link anymore now that I'm back on mine.
