How do I raise my Defense?

Ihave like 1mil defense and 1mil offense so wot do I do to raise them both if yopu can please help by sending aid :( :( :( :(

Offense and defense comes from your troops. To get more troops you build Barracks.

Guards can be built on your land, and they contribute to your defense. Each Guard being worth 500 d.

They certainly contribute to stopping attacks.

Guard towers are the best way to get defense,but some people have recently recommended strategies that don't use them.

I got no guards. They seem kind os pointless. My men cause more defense than guards. The only person I know that actually built tons of guards was Guardians of the Night, 59. He had 40,000 or some crazy number like that. No one around hios rank could break through, but we discovered his leader number was pitiful.

Guards are completely pointless. To have enough to protect you, you have to be horrendously landfat, and eventually someone will break you.

Get troops. Loads of troops. And build markets and foragers and camps.
