I got a 30. I've failed math 3 times, so getting a 25 on that was good for me. XD 35 on reading was my best.

I haven't take the SAT yet when it counted, but I took it in 7th grade and got a 1010, so that should improve because the highest math I had taken prior to the SAT was 7th grade math, not even pre-algebra lol. And my English score should improve as well, but now it is on the 2400 scale, but I should do well on the writing part, I'm good at writing stuff.

I didn't take it in 7th grade, my parents wouldn't spring for it. What were your individual scores in math and english? I'm bad at math (well relatively) and good at English, so I ended up with a 700 in English and a 610 in math. Just curious about yours.

Ya I'm bad in math and good in English also.

I can't remember the exact scores but my English was above my math. They added a writing part to the SAT so it's a 2400 scale, which sucks. I think it happened a couple years ago. I'm a sophomore so I don't have to worry about it quite yet.

I think the writing section is retarded, as it adds a layer of objectivity to it..  everyone gets the same chance on multiple choice, but people will grade writing differently..

LOL. I think you mean subjectivity wondy, objectivity is what it was before they added writing. And they probably have matrix that's standard that is used to grade the writing.

And adding writing.. that IS retarded. How long has the SAT been around and functioned just fine without a writing section? 30 years? 40? Stupidity. Besides, writing requirements vary wildly between the different courses, biology just requires basic grammar and spelling, chemistry the same, but also knowing how to write in passive tense. English of course requires all the wonderful stuff, but that does not mean you need a standardized writing TEST. I hate how they keep doing that. My SAT score would've sucked if I had to write.
