(No jap chick is shaped like that and none of them have blonde hair. I mean seriously... other than the unrealistic girls in these shows, theres really no point in watching them. Half the time the jokes are nonsensical, and the translating is bad bad bad.)

Winry is a perfect example of Anime as it started.  The origional art form that becam "Japanimation" was japanese trying to look more american.  BLonde, exageratedly large eyes, body parts, and such.  Because japanese folks are usually very small in most aspects.
