So, not that I haven't asked for it, but I'm recieving verbal attacks in various forms in regards to this game.

People are sending me rude mails full of horrid spelling in RWL game itself.  I'm recieving PM's in the forums as well, informing me I'm not only a complete waste of space, but a horrible speller.  In forms like "u suk at speeling."

Uh.. yeah.

And also, AIM attacks.  I've removed my messanger names from my profile so that can at least be halted to whomever has it now, and from now on those who maliciously message me on IM will simply be blocked.

But, I find that this childish tom-foolery is rather irritating.  First off, there are users that I don't even know what their reasoning is for messaging me.  But, I know there are some I have rubbed wrong and that's fine.

But I'm backing down, they should show me equal respect.  Especially if they want respect on the same level.

I've sent responces to these verbal onslaughts in polite format.  Requesting that I be left alone, but it is not stopping them.  In fact, it's increasing them.

I know this is a game, and it is competive, and there is roleplay involved and so on... But isn't it reasonable to ask for some peace?  And if the pestering continues, is there a way to block a user from PM-ing me at least in the forums?

In the RWL game side, you only have a limited amount of message credits, so at least there's only so many a user can send me.  AIM is easily blocked with a button, and I can just roll it off.

I just think these attacks are a bit unnessicary.  I slipped out of line in one topic and have since kept my tounge as requested.  I can think of two people who have any reason to bear animosity in regards to me.  And if they are the ones who deem it nessicary to pester me in AIM I apologize if they carry a vendetta against me, and I hope they can find a place to forgive an move on.

But I'd like these things to stop.  If it's merely roleplay I can except it, and roleplay back.  But keep it to the forum it's made for, nice and clean.  Where everyone else can read it and enjoy it as the game it is.

It's a game, my friends, and I think we should all keep it this way.

This sounds like full blown harrasment to me. I seriously doubt it's a roll play. If people are PMing you, the best thing to do, I think, would be to give their account names to an admin, and ask that they be stopped in some fashion. The admin can either warn, gag, or ban them as necessary. The same could be done in-game.

I want to give these folks a chance.  Honestly because I was given a chance.  But from now on I will do it that way.  I've given enough requests and warnings.

Whenever you have any issues involving players being rude, may i ask that you report it to an admin? We're here to make sure that that kind of stuff doesn't happen. This is a game for everyone to play and enjoy. Any rudeness will not be tolerated.

Best bet is to send myself or wolf bite a PM about it, since we're the in-game admins at the moment.

I have a big problem with this rheorix girl.
First, she messages me in game and bothers me after i attack her, then i introduce myself to the forums and say it's nice to know eveyroen so far exzcept for rheorix who has bothered me in game.
then rheorix writes me a nice long letter about slander and blah blah blah about how shes so important
i told her that iw as just stating an opinion and she just proved it by not leaving me alone
she messaged me again and i replied with a message
"ur spelling suks"
in hopes of her realizing such pretentious attitude does not get one far in this world

Ladies, ladies.. please. This is definately not how I imagined you coming to redwall, Karen. Rheorix, kindly, back off. I know Karen in real life, infact, she is my girlfriend. I brought her to redwall in hopes of molding a new empress. I did not, however, expect these flame wars. It seems to me, that you always have to get the last word in.
