So, what's all your plans for the holidays?

I can't wait for winter break. My Filipino relatives are coming down from Canada to stay with us. That's my mom's three sisters, their husbands, and their kids. And they'll all be staying in our house. It'll definitely be crazy. They've all been down here before, but this time they're bringing a baby and a dog.

So we'll be taking them all to Disney and Universal and stuff. (again) And then there's my debutante ball.  :-) That's definitely the event I'm looking forward to the most during winter break.

I will just be here with my family. Probably see a few friends that come home for winter break. Pretty quiet all around though.

tried it on three of mine, and its all been varying..  in IE it was pathetically slow, in firefox it was normal, in konqueror it was variable..

Tried it on Safari and IE. Pretty much the same. (Both on a MAC)
Question - What is "normal"?  :-P

'normal' as in ~10-12 seconds for a snowflake to fall from the top of the screen to the bottom, about the speed you would expect snow to fall
my IE is kinda iffy, it doesnt like to run on linux, so that's probably the reason

seems like most everyone has a full winterbreak ahead..

LOL Disdain. Wondy, the snow falls fine on mine, and I run IE. Well not really, but the browser I use is based on it.

Mmm... violence GOOD!!! Screw all the politicians that oppose it!!!! On G4 there's this violent cartoon called Happy Tree Friends and Friends. Their all so cuddly, and the creators always find creative ways to kill them all! My mom says it's disgusting and she won't watch it, but I can go ahead and watch it if want. Violence is so funny!!!

Also going to eat turkey, yeah!!!!

Me, Mom, Dad, Mom's mom and Mom's sister, Wendy, and her three boys.  Pretty quiet Christmas. Nothing spectacular, which is how I like it.

 :-D I'm in a pretty similar position to Shael--family's coming over.  I'll be renting a flat over New Year with a squad of fellow students and being studenty ("mad" antics, usually involving alcohol and/or traffic cones) after a little while though.

Debutante ball, eh, Shael?  Which type; the one where you wear a low cut top and try to ensnare a wealthy nobleman or the Filipino one with the candles and, like, one shot of tequila for every letter of your name being drunk by all the eligible young guys, or something?   :wink:

The Filipino one, actually, without the tequila. ^_^ It's Filipino custom to have it when the girl turns 18, but I'm only half Filipino, so we figured it's okay to have it when I'm 17. And not all the guys I invited to be in my court are eligible, and the guy I like the most is my escort, but he has a girlfriend, so I'm just like, oh well. I'm just more looking forward to having fun with my family and friends.

Well, winter break starts at the end of this week and after last night I think its gonna be fun!  Christmas goes like this: December 24th Boggs' side of the family coming to our house this year for X-mas dinner & exchange.  December 25th in the early morning we're going to my step-dad's mom's for X-mas breakfast & gifts.  Then at 1pm Christmas Day I go to my dad's parent's for X-mas "dinner"(actually lunch) and gifts.  Oh, not to mention just the household family gift thing in the morning of Christmas.

But, I'm moreso looking forward to being with Ben.(if u wanna know more about him go to my livejournal)
