But a lot of people hang out here and drink coffee on the patio that don't play.
Losers. *cough*

ohmyjapan16

Hmm... so is it cool to attack people online here?

Ruatine

NO! Absolutely not. It's considered very bad.

Well, that's cool that it happened to me on my second day. Anywho, so what's the best way to get an army in this joint? Troop selling? Or do I just make a ton of cash? If so, do I sell my troops on the BM before? I'm so confused. (Well, not really, I just have questions)

This game is not really set up for any one strategy to win. People play a wide range of different ways. Those with Leader or mostly Leader strats tend to do best. But keeping it balanced is a hard thing to do and takes some practice.

As far as the on line attacking, it is highly looked down on. Very few people do it when not at war with each other. Remember that people will wait on line to see when a target signs off, so if you are just watching the game, make sure you make a click as the turns change to keep showing as on line. Also if an on line person has not changed their net in about half an hour, some may decide that you are trying to detour attacks by pretending to be using turns and attack you as fair game.

I would try hawking.? But when you get attacked people can steal your cash, food, and leaders.? Of course, then you can steal it back and murder them...

Don't worry, I wasn't camping, it was right after I made a run for land. What do you guys do with your troops right before a run, seeing as you can't sell that much on the market.

well, if you have way too many fer your own good, have someone hold them (prefferibly somone you trust =P)
I /usually/ dont have much, so they just stay there and eat a few more reasources than I'd like

That depends on what strategy you are using. I am assuming you are taking land, then buffing up to hold it. After waiting for turns, selling your non-attacking army to cut down on feeding costs.

Assuming that is your strategy, then you can sell unneeded armies 6 hours before making your run so you get to sell them off two times. You could also send them to someone to hold them, who will hopefully send them back after your run to help your defense.

I just keep a good amount of mice around.  They don't cost that much.  If I need more I just buy them off the BM.  Selling on the Public Market is not nearly as effective in this game as it is on FAF.

ohmyjapan16

Ok, so I will keep my attacking troop out, then what is most of your net's made of? one troop type? Resources?

Nohcnonk

Food gives a lot of net in this game.  I have 8 something billion and get almost 200 mil net from it.  Troops are the other main source of networth.  They're hard to store and cost upkeep unlike food, but troops actually give you defense. XD

Have fun or DIE. By cannibalism. Or by superglue. I'll leave the details of the latter to your imagination
I can do the latter! I'm like Dr. Kavorkie!!!

Anyways, welcome. But I still haven't figured everything out. *Digs in her sack of people's possesions that she stole. Studies a keyboard button* I can't figure it out!!!!
Sorry to all that I cause distress to. I can sometimes be a jerk (Well, ok, all the time). I don't mean to be.
