 I read this in Motorcycle Consumer News and thought you guys would enjoy it.

Those dangerous scooters!

This sounds too ridiculous to be true: A 22-year old care worker, Heidi Brown, asked if it was all right if she parked her brand new scooter outside the Vehicle Registration office in Ipswich, England while she went inside to get her new license plates. Assure that it was, she chained it to the fence and went to wait in line.

Imagine her surprise when she came out and found out the army had blown her scooter up because someone had reported it might be a bomb. Officers had tried to identify it, they said, but had been unable to because there were no license plates on it...as she was inside getting them.

 I'm assuming the army moved to scooter before it was blown up correct? Or did they blow it up right there?

 It sounds stupid enough to be true, but I doubt it's the whole story as with most stories.
