RWL: The Battle for Emperor

Act 2: Scene 5

(We see Fenix's hand poised over that orb thingie as a bunch of pretty colors swirl around eventually gathering together to form a wicked cool looking gengar. As he continues to wave his hand around the orb, the shape of gengar gradually defines itself more fully and we hear all these creepy dark whispers.)

Fenix: (regally) The power of Isengard is at your command, Stormclaw, Lord of the Earth.

Storm: (Whispering darkly) Build me an army worthy of Salamandastron...

(We see Fenix sitting by himself at the table Blood and himself had shared drinks at not long before. He seems to be in deep thought, contemplating something, when 2 orcs appear hesitantly waiting for some sign of recognition before fully entering the room. Fen glances up wearily and we recognize the rat to be Ladysnaketoung and Pokeymanns who both stand before Fenix.)

Pokeymanns: What orders from Salamandastron, my lord, what does Stormclaw command?

Snake (Girl, your name is way too long ;) ): We have work to do...

(We see hundreds of rats tying heavy ropes around trees and then pulling them out of the ground. Each time a tree falls to the ground it emits an unearthly groan. Scene abruptly shifts to Bloodrath
laying down on cold stone, bruised and bloody. He is attacked by a small fit of coughing before he struggles to his feet, realizing he's actually on top of Fenix's tower. It begins to rain as the camera pans out for a disturbing shot of all the fires and destruction around Isengard while Blood trudges over to one of the pillars in the tower for some shelter from the rain.)

Snake: (To Fenix as they watch a tree fall) The trees are strong, my lord, their roots go down deep.

Fenix: (flatly) Rip them all down.

(Sweep camera around the destruction and close on Bloodrath's look of despair as he sits on the top of the tower in misery.)

(End Scene)
