 Yo Oh Po Joe Stick (#3) (#11)?? he has 2 numbers... and completely unreolistic money and food... and why did he never spend any of it?


well, as fun as this commanders was, it was a little messed up. The setup i do for the next one will hopefully be safer. plus, i'm hoping some of the bugs that were being used can be found...

suggestions for next time? PLEASE tell me what you think? was there something that could have been better?

 When he signed up he made his Name "Oh Po Joe Stink (#3)" and then was assigned #11 come on use your head Peace. That amount of food and money is not unrealistic, if he just sat and horded the whole game, with 200k markets he could get that cash in around 25k turns and about the same with the food, many more than 50k turns were given out during the set. He probally wasn't able to log in before the end of the set and couldn't spend his stuff or he wanted to win msot cash/food.

it does seem unrealistic
midgame spying did not show resources anywhere near that much
and he was not doing runs with 0 troops on the last day (which would incur a hefty upkeep)
i also dont remember him consistently holding onto 200k land and running turns

he did have time to spend it.. I am curious as to why he didn't... It would have landed him second place easily...

And that is not hard to do with about 100 k acres of full huts... easily could have been made on the final day...

rank 2 is worthless
it would be difficult for him to have made all that on the final day
and end up with 800 million loyalty especially with the troops he had
perhaps not impossible but unrealistic for nohc

 (sorry, but I can't think of a word to use)...well, third is decent considering I got no aid at all, and only played 10,000 turns, hehe. I made 300 bil rather easily and just spent it as my mercenaries refilled. Too bad I didn't finish spending my other 140 billion, but thats alright.

 Yep, I'm Yo Oh Po Joe.  Actually I did make it all on the final day.  I missed the 26th and built up on the 27th, getting as many troops as I could using barracks.  It so happened that the reset wasn't that day so my 500+ mil net went to waste.  I had to get rid of everything since I had no money or food and way too many troops.  I did much better the last day because there was more land, more players, and more money to steal (and I knew what I was doing).  Though probably 80% of the final money I made myself.  I wasn't sure if I'd get first, and didn't really have any time, so I left my account as it was until today where I could use the rest of my loyalty and win.  But Retto didn't hold off the reset another day, so I ended up with the most resources.

I really liked this round, and there's nothing wrong with getting 2nd or 3rd.  Especially since any one of us could have just stayed up all night to win, or only got to play for a few hours.

I had built up loyalty, and only had 200k land when I took it near the end and waited to be attacked, giving me a great ratio and a very large amount of leaders to make my final cash and food with.  I think I made 800 bil in two hours.  Definately not impossible, since Snare must have had around the same amount, and very realistic for me since... well, I did it.
