Yeah, staring at this too much is prone to give you a headache. I've been staring at it for the past three weeks in school trying to figure out why it WON'T WORK, and my head will explode over the weekend if I don't figure it out, I swear. It's driving me insane.

If IE5 Win and IE5 Mac don't even interpret the box model the same way, that might give you a hint.

 Many thanks for the link, I was bracing myself for hours of CSS-tutorial-hunting once I got home. ^_^

You can probably guess that there's a menu bar on every page. There's a drop down menu for a couple of the menu links. (I'm using Dreamweaver for all of this) At first, my problem was that the div.sections kept sticking to each other, and wouldn't stay in one place. I troubleshooted this for about two weeks. I finally figured it out today. (I think it was my fault, accidentally, that it got that way in the first place) The problem was under div.section, which had said position:absolute, and I sorta stared at the screen, wishing I had gone into the code earlier.

This time it's a spacing problem. (Accidentally my fault again. NO idea what I did, I clicked somewhere random, and then BOOM, code structure collapses somewhere unknown) The entire menu bar seems to be in a div element (forgot which). Before, it was nice and skinny, and gray-colored, but now it's all stretched height-wise, and it seems to be the div.sections, which are included in the div element that includes the entire menu bar. So, the menu links that DON'T have a drop-down menu are stuck in the middle of a vastness of white space, and the menu bar is about 6 times thicker in height than it used to be.

Make any sense? I wish I copied the code for the menu bar itself. I know the problem is under one of the #menu properties, but I'm having trouble locating it, and once I do, what attribute to use. I saw "white-space" somewhere in there, and I fooled around with that, but didn't get a response.

I shall look at that site though.
