Why is a raven like a writing desk?
The man
Of virtuous soul commands not, nor obeys:
Power, like a desolating pestilence,
Pollutes whate'er it touches, and obedience,
Bane of all genius, virtue, freedom, truth,
Makes slaves of men, and, of the human frame,
A mechanised automaton.

Percy Bysshe Shelley

The Lady Shael

A kid in my Latin class today went up to the front of the room, faced the students, and announced randomly, "Yesterday, I saw a raven, and my brother cut off the tip of his finger in culinary club." o.0 And we just stared at him.

Or something. I've never read the book though. Not that brilliant. I'm sorry :|

Though the later answer he gave is particularly nifty.

did he say it in Latin?

The Lady Shael

No, he didn't, actually. *scratches head* Even though he's in Latin IV, I doubt he knows enough Latin to be able to say that...

I can say all kindza stuff in latin. Si hoc signum legere potes, operis boni in rebus Latinus alacribus
et fructuosis potiri potes!  :D  :D  :D  Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum
saxum immane mittam.  And I mean it! Cave ne ante ullas catapultas ambules. Unfortunately, cum catapultae proscriptae erat, tum soli proscript catapultas habeunt.  :(  Gotta go! Di! Oblitus sum perpolire clepsydras! *runs off to do what he said he forgot to do*
