Also can we get another opinon from someone else who has seen the movie? John may think that "The Passion" is perfectly acceptable, however some others might not. Oh yeah, I forgot, that movie is going unchecked even though by many it is considered largely anti-semetic.

 Anything which is produced in our day and time is social commentary.

Racists don't produce anti-minority films because of fear of the backlash.
Christians don't produce anti-non-Christian films for mainstream public consumption because nobody would watch them really, but they do produce other anti-non-Christian propaganda... ALL THE TIME. Often, without even completely understanding the logic behind what they're fighting.
Non-Christians can produce satirical films that portray anti-Christian messages because they don't fear the backlash, and because they know they CAN get people to watch them.

For every anti-Christian movie, there is a televangelist telling someone that they are going to burn in ... for all eternity.
For every anti-Christian comment, there is a website telling parents that Harry Potter and Teletubbies will lead their children to the devil.
For every anti-Christian thing EVER in popular culture, there is a witch burning or Spanish Inquisition.

Christianity isn't all-powerful anymore, and it's time that the other members of society get their own back.

Cal....        OK, first off the people who think that about TeleTubbies and Harry potter are wrong, I've already said that, and thats why vatican okayed the books.

It seems to me it is anti-FUNDAMENTALIST, not anti-Christian. ::shrugeth::
