Anyone else playing / played Pokemon Sun/Moon?   
I usually pick the 'fire' / 'light' / etc version of Pokemon for whatever reason, but this time I picked up Moon 'cause my brother wanted Sun. 
Glad I did, Moon flipped the day/night cycle and most of my playtime is in the late evening.  Nice having 'day' for most of the game

Also Growlithe in 'Refresh' is frikken adorable.

I haven't tried that one. Kinda lost interest past gen III.

Yeah, Gen IV was alright.  Diamond / Pearl and Heart Gold / Soul Silver. 
For whatever reason Gen V Pokemon Black couldn't hold my attention.. 
Never tried X/Y or X2/Y2, but Sun/Moon are pretty entertaining. 

Took me a sec to get used to the new look and view, but it works. 
The new 'gym' battles are different, the affection system is interesting in that it actually affects battles, and there's just a lot of 'stuff' thrown in.
The Pokemon Snap minigame is also nice addition.

Just beat the 'league' with Lycanroc, Umbreon, Decidueye, Slowpoke, Arcanine, and Marowak
Marowak was a late addition and didn't do much due to his lower level, but otherwise.. 

I like that they allowed you to catch some of the Gen 1 pokemon early on.   
Also Experience Share is OP...  I barely used my starter (the owl thing) but leaving Experience Share on allowed it to keep up, and it pulled it's weight in the League battles.

There isn't really a downside unless you are a hard-core EV min-maxer.

I just watched a youtube vid on EV/IV training. 
Urgh. 
I got the Natures thing, where you get a stat boost / nerf based on it's nature but that's about all I paid attention to previously. 
Probably all I'll continue to pay attention to

Also the online trading system is kinda hilarious.  Everyone wants a legendary for everything.  Doesn't hurt to ask I guess, would be nice if you could tell it to filter those out though.
