Well it was a fearling troglodyte (with 0 class adjustment level), so amazingly it actually was technically level 1 when we started...

He had 25 con 'cause the DM let me roll (and keep) 4 instead of 3 dice for stats. 21 + fearling troglodyte racial (4) = 25

Was pretty awesome.
