What is the point of a city?

 I don't really understand why i would bother to build a city? How does it help me in any way?

 A city can work for you or against you, depends on what your strategy is.

It will put the value of 1500 tents (more workers to tax) and 500 camps (less cost to pay armies) on only 1000 land.  So if you are having money problems and want to keep a bigger army on less land, they are great.  If you are high ranking and have a lot of land, then it is a nice bonus.  Also they are hard to take away the land from you because the guy has to beat you in all ways to take one away.

The down side is they are costly to build and demolish.  They limit the land for huts for leader fighters. If a city is taken from you, it is a lot of land gone.
