Advertising on RWL

 Take a look at Retto's signature:

Including links to all these different websites is surely considered advertising.
I know they're Redwall realted, but so are MANY other links people try post and get in trouble for. For example links to warbands. Not allowed according to Retto, and yet he is allowed to link to Vulpine Imperium?

 1. It's in his siggy. Anyone can advertise there (in their signature.)

2. I've never seen anyone in trouble...Scolded, maybe, but not in really trouble.

 The ban on advertising is only for sites not related to RWL or the RWL team. Retto is on the RWL team, and they're his sites..

And we aren't allowed advertising in our signatures, notice there is no longer a link to warbands in mine?

 Yes, but what about the SDF? That's an ad...

 It seems that Beatles also has a link, as do a few other people, in his sig and it would be best not to bring this to be a matter that would be needed to look into to enforce.

Take note that advertising in signatures is and always has been allowed. You have Ad, Shael, and someone else, I forget who's word for that.

So, it is RWL related... just thought I'd point that out...

This is describing Retto's trails, not the RWL RPing board.

On a personal note: Wolf happens to like the boys of Burninate.

However, there seems to be this new fad of pushing matters that are none of Burninate?s concern and that pushing is being disruptive to the forum.  I would lock this topic, but I am sure another one would pop up.

Consider this a ?nudge.?  Continuing to take shots at the Staff for doing their job, attempting to do the work of the Staff, or assaulting the forums in a way that is disruptive will result in a ?warning.? This has been checked with Retto and he agrees.

The Staff has no want to be forced to a gagging, the 4 people using one account don?t want all their accounts gagged, and there are people on the forum that want to hear what those 4 people have to say on different matters.

I will assume this topic has ended along with disruptive behaviors.
 
If you have something you need to bring to the attention of the Staff, please feel as free as everyone is to PM any of the Staff.

 Does this mean that it is a violation of the rules to be critical of staff actions? If that is the case, than I, the Nevadacow, will leave the forums, as I have left the game.

 I think it means that it's against the rules of the forum to repeatedly conflict with the staff on things that really aren't affecting you, and that are in place in order to protect things in accordance with the wills of the admins.
