 This is a one question test that should take you several hours and is only for those whose I.Q. is 140+.


1. Calculate pi to the 52nd decimal

If you can answer this correctly, you have a genius I.Q. Congratulations!!!

all you need is a calculator that can calculate 52 decimals..  tehe..  
3.14 is the only pi I need to know..  it works fine really..

 Um... I don't feel like doing math, I still have another day off of school, so no math for me... tell me if you EVER use this in your entire life, I'd appreciate knowing what situation I'll need it in, so that I can avoid such a situation.

 Hah. Once, a long time ago, my friend's math teacher set that question.. they had the whole class working on it with calculators.. the answer is stuck to the ceiling in the math classroom.. it goes all the way round it.

 Humm... All I know is:

3.141592

I'm sure I could get more of it memorized if I wanted to...

You see, it depends on what kind of Pi you are trying to calculate. The fractional equivelent of pi is 22/7. To calculate the version of pi done by a calculator is virtually impossible in the human brain, as it requires complex mathematical formulae. Algorithms and stuff like that. It took a powerfull computer quite a long time to calculate Pi to a few billion decimal points.

 I don't even know what the normal pi is.

 I forgot how it's done. However, I do remember that it requires all the positive fractions with a numerator of one and denominators starting with two. Something along the lines of adding and subtracting one from the next. It's somewhere in my notes, but I can't remember off the bat. Still, pretty good for a 13 year old.

 Not only am I a newbie that only a couple people know (and those under a different name), I really dislike math! So, on my first post...

 Bite me. Who cares what pi is to the 52nd decimal...  I could do it, but I hate math and I don't care enough.
