Lord of the Rings

 I'm sure a lot of people here are nerds, Tolkein geeks. My friends are just Orli-freaks, so I came along to see ROTK on opening day. Has anyone else seen it yet? I must say, it was definately the best of the three movies. I even got a little emotional, and that's not me ^_^;;;

The only bad part was when Elijah didn't have a shirt on.....*shudder*

 What can i say.  I just saw it with my girl.  (both lotr fans)  We loved it.  I mean it was long.  But well worth it for us.  I won't tell other people to see it.  Because i think peeps should want to see it.  If you just go then you will get bored because it is SUPER long.  But that is better for peeps like me!

P.S.  A lot of people got emotional.  I heard Peter Jackson said, "they cried at the sad parts and laughed at all the funny parts, so i am happy."

 So far, I've only heard good things about ROTK. I can't wait to see it.

 My sister is seeing it tomorrow for her birthday. Don't know when I'm seeing it thought, hopefully soon.

 I didn't know it was out.  The books are ok, but I like the movies, its just hard for me to sit still that long.

 I saw the second screening on the day it came out :)

was good, but not enough Action, i thought the Action in "The Two Towers" was better.

but it was good, the bit where they chucked the heads over the wall, SO cool!!
i particularly liked the way it paused on a helmet, and a chopped off head rolled out, awesome stuff :)

and the Gimli / Legolas Rivalry and this quote cracks me up EVERY TIME:

"That Still only counts as one you know" - After Legolas Kills that awesome Beast :) (sorry about telling you if you haven't seen it, but its not a major bit, its just funny :D)

the action was slightly lacking (there was plenty of war) but the camera was way to fast, you missed bits of it, like heads flying and stuff, but awesome film!!

i can read the book now after waiting almost a year to read it!

Unlike everyone else, I won't post a million spoilers, except to say that the Aragorn/Arwen snog was worth the three 1/2 hours of mom eating all my popcorn. ^__^

maybe except the whole TRINITY / NEO thing in the MATRIX Trilogies...

 That movie is great! Fat hobbitses! I also liked the part when Gandalf hit Denethor with his staff (sorry for the spoilers but it was so cool!). Everyone in the audience cheered when he hit him.
