Imperial and their attacking habits

I would like to join Imperial, but I think if I joined now, I'd be killed fairly quickly.

Hm. Seems that I've struck a chord with everyone. Wolf Bite I have no problem with and I am ceasing attacks on the Loren Recruits, but the Loren members still have a bitter lesson to learn in the ways of a Clan vs Clan war. In the first era, the war between DI and RR was much larger and longer than this...those wars were so much easier to fight. This was just an all-out ambush.

Oh, I don?t think Loren is upset over the number of attacks. It is the reason for the attacks. Loren did not have a hold on the top, thus this is not a slaying of evil. Imperial is claiming some garbage about retail for grudges, this is ridicules since they attacked the entire clan. Then there is the claim that this is merely an attempt to get Blood Wake, who is in disable. So they try to talk their way out of a war saying they never declared a war. They have unlimited attack on both Loren and the Recruits. They should say what it is, they want the land so they made up a war to gain it.

What this resembles is that was the down fall of Kilk in the beginning of this era. He would set a clan to war only to gain their land. Then once that clan was weakened with the help of "allies", he would set the "allied" clan to war for the same reasons. There is no rule against this clan strategy, but al game players soon realize that they are likely next, because truces and friendship does not out weigh greed.

The complaint is what a cheap shot Imperial is taking.

That is not what we're doing here. I never said I had a grudge against anyone. By choice I always go against the ruling clan, which here is Loren, what you people have to understand is the goal of the game is to be the best, and not diplomacy. I would set clans to war to get land because of the 1.2 x attack bonus, and I can attack higher that what the game lets me without losing troops, which is nice. But to say that I declared war on allies before is wrong. I never made a formal alliance with any clan and then declared war on them, we were never allied with anyone. You people turned on me because I proposed a plan for taking out Winter, which was the strongest clan at the time, and Cal picked it up and made a "Crusade for Ad" which was shortlived because my clan members turned on me, thanks guys, once the bad guy, always the bad guy. Look at my attack pattern, I didn't attack anyone for about 5-6 days before I went after Loren, I had full turns, full stored, it was obvious we were waiting when not attacking, I was just waiting for someone to catch on and rat us out, but it never happened, everyone was too secure in their spots in the game to do anything about it. It's a game. Deal with it and stop your crying. If I get beat down, I can always get back up again if necessary, as I have done so many times before.

I repeat, I myself had no grudge with Loren, some of my members have, but read above if you want the store again, because reiterating makes my head hurt.

Hey Kilk, I am not making a fight here, and I have felt bad about the begaining of the game. But the facts are that both the Blades and Winter had formal ally, and we set them to war for their land only, that was the undoing of the clan.

Like your new sig, much beter then the cowboy one.

I don't recall being told they were a formal ally of ours, but oh well, I apologized to yall already and resigned out of stupidity of my actions...The point right now is that Loren is making a big deal out of something that used to happen all the time.

Remember in Era 1 KM vs =}==>? We had a 2 week war and we just beat the (Note to all: I am a fool) out of eachother every other day. We held eachother's lower members out of the top 40 and everything. KM barely won that one, holding them down until a ceasefire was gained, but I think it was just because we had 3 members in the top 10 and they had 4 starting that was our victory because we got a good jump and planned the attacks. (This was KM with Myself, Josh, Germania, so we had an advantage in skill at that point, Wolfy hadn't come into his own yet...:P)

So now your out to make Kilk look like the bad guy too? Like you've done so many times to me.

Let me make this plain an simple for you all:

The objective of this game is to go for the top. Power and land, its what its all about.
Imperial wanted to play this game, thus they would be trying to achieve this objective. Loren would be in our way. We could be allied with them, then crawl around in the bottom 30 ranks with no land or anything. Or we could have attacked them. Me and kilk brought it up in the clan forum, and everyone was all for it (everyone had their own reasons i'm sure).
Imperial is a clan of good players, we are all good, honerable people. To take out a clan like loren, we could just go on the forums and say to everyone "Look at us, were declairing war on loren!". WE would have gotten killed. We were smaller, weaker, and the underdogs. Think stratagy people, what would be the best way to win a battle like this? By surprise of course! The north american natives knew it best! To beat Loren we would have to hit them HARD, and by surprise. That is exactly what we did. we did it with skill, and it was a success. If you guys want to find something dishonerable about us playing the game, go right ahead and do it. Kilk is not a bad guy wolf. Neither am I, but theres no chance of my convinced THAT to you.

The attacks were not a disgrace, they were an act of stratagy!

also, Wolf Bite, one problem. If this was all about land why did we attack when they had 2000 acres, 3000 acres? It was to overthrow the ruling clan. thats all I'll say.

Another thing- I dunno about anyone else in Imperial, but when things are SOOO peaceful and quiet up in the top ten that people are starting to get bored, then something has to change. Basically, all we've done is level out the playing field a little, making things more interesting. Also, about being attacked, that's sorta part of the game. We all end up getting attacked heavily at one point in time at least, complaining won't stop it from happening.

Yea, Holby, didnt you just yell at me for complaining. I mean I know I wasnt attacked as much, but you said you had been hit worse before and that attacking is part of game.

These attacks were not about power, they were about killing me! Look, Nothern Alliance was attacking when I had under 2k land!

Trust me, had I not looted for an extra 200 turns (accidently pressed '2' one too many times) earlier that day Peace Alliance would be in my location right now.

Heh, I love being on the winning side, lol jk guyts, I'm not playing ya, but yea, Imperial is just tryign to bring up the old times, you know all out clan wars, and all that hubbub, it's great fun, and face it. We took you guys out.

I'm serious those attacks were sick lol, I had about 25-30 in there myself.
