Question for top ranked people

 Buying armies takes no turns. And the less land you have the less land they take. It takes about 200 turns to kill some one with 500 land. Which is why kills are rare.

 Ah.. I see... um actually what I meant was doesn't it take take time to sell food so you can have the money to buy the armies? But I do understand about the killing thing.

 If you sell on the "Public Market" it takes time, but if you sell on the "Black Market" the food to cash transformation is instantaneous.

They on the other hand have wasted 200 turns, did not keep the land, and have their economy messed up for weeks.

OK, but this leads to another question.  How can you keep your own economy going when you have just bought a huge army and you only have so many markets and foragers?

 Yea, he had the mercenary. I mean, that guy had what, 7 kills between himself and the other mercs.

 That is still a lot. I mean, this era with about 300 dead people, there have been only 2 kills. That is like 1/150 people dead is actually killed!
