 Ergh, I try to avoid telling people this, because they only end up looking at me as a genius or something afterwards, which really isn't true. (All my friends still think so though)

I skipped second grade, so technically, I should be a freshman.

 Why did you skip second grade?

you can skip grade at an earlier level and you still learn at the same level as everyone else, it just you learn different stuff or the same thing later on.

 Heh... I sort of skipped 5th and 6th grades...
In elementary school, my parents wouldn't let me go to the magnet school in town because the kids there were mean and it was in a really, really bad part of town... so I was stuck with the dumb kids in the "regular" classes.
Then, in 5th grade, I went to the magnet middle school in town, so I jumped straight from doing 4th grade work that was really not much above 3rd grade (they always stuck me in with the least intelligent classes, to boost TAAS scores) and then the next year I was doing 7th/8th grade work!
I blame that for my bad grades in math... I never actually had 5th or 6th grade levels of it!
Heh... thank goodness I did, though- that's what let me do extra AP stuff in high school, which is what is letting me do a double major now in college.

So anyway I still graduated on "normal" time... a lot of people wonder, though, because I was the youngest in my class when we graduated, or at least one of the youngest... everyone else had turned 18, and I didn't turn 18 until 2 months after.

 You should interview me. I'm the oldest playing player, 'cepting Nevada, who is hardly ever here anyways.

 Why? *shrugs* Not sure. I was homeschooled then, and it's much easier to jump ahead when homeschooled. It was basically my mom's idea. I was only 6 years old then, it's just like, "Wow, I skipped a grade." I didn't really look at it as much of a big deal back then.

It's weird, being younger than everyone else...for example, nearly everyone in my grade, except one other person, (he also skipped a grade, he's even a month younger than me, but he honestly looks like 17 years old or something) are 15 or 16, and have either a learner's permit or license. Me, I can't even sit in the driver's seat till December....argh.

I have grades that allow me to skip grades, but every time it comes up, my disorganisation has convinced my teachers that I would not survive the skip. Oh, really?!  :rolleyes:  If only... (Yes, I need homeschooling...)

 I'm not... I hate school. Well, the teachers hate me. I hardly ever do my homework, mainly  beacuse I'm playing RWL..
