Hm, I think it was Stormy...Retto's too serious...besides, Stormy did send the Merc to that Mars colony...

I call that funny...

And so, to be fair, yes, Stormy sent Merc to mars, but Retto is brillianter.

 Suggestion:

Make is so you can demolish one type of building and it builds a different type of building on that land as soon as you demolish it.

so what i mean,  is that you'll ne able to demolish tents and it will put the extra land into camps AS it demolishes. This will make it so you don't waste turns with the land on nothing.

:D

I think you should make scouting more benefical.

I LOVE the research idea. Like, under mission huts, you could go to another age, and then there's research, like Rat attacking + 5% or farm output +10%. These research things would be quite expensive, so that no one person would be able to specialize in all areas, and thus, everyone would have some weakness. It would make it much more difficult to attain the rank of emperor and hold it for over a week... that could make the game a bit more interesting.

By the way, are you going to be making the turbo and regular servers different? As we all know both games are completely different. And i've always strongly believed that scouting should be worth MUCH more then normal on turbo because its so much fast and it never has enough land.

Also, have you considered making it so that people can cast spells on another warlord that will ruin they're income for a long period of time, or that will stunt them in some way... that would be... interesting

I personally think reaserch should be seprate from the existing leadership actions. You would have a seprate building, say 'Proveing Grounds' or 'Test Range' or something like that, that would produce diffrently under diffrent reaserch types. Perhaps even have two diffrent types of buildings, one for each specality. Anyway, you would have a reaserch page, from which you could control what projects are started, and how much reasources go into each one (think like troop recruiting, though here there is no limit on projects you can have open). The more you put into a project, the faster it goes. Of corse, you could stop the research to save cash in a crunch. Or you could sell technologies, or share them with your clan.

I'm almost certain it was Stormclaw.
Here's a breakdown:
Stormclaw: does funny stuff, does moderating, has ideas
Retto: does cool stuff, has ideas
Boze: starts RWL, does ..uh... stuff. Funny or serious.

Er...yeah. XD

 How about building spying?

I think it's a good way to determine how people are playing. Plus you'll know how well they can recover from an attack.

EDIT: Just read Holby's post, so instead of every building, you just see maybe random 1 or 2 building type amounts? Of course you'd have to make it expensive to balance it out a bit. For example:

First time I spy I see they have

Guards: 3045
Camps: 10

It kind of helps me a bit, but I don't know their whole strategy?

Plus this would also make Fox "Falsify Documents",  MUCH BETTER.

Which would be a really cool skill if it was a lot more extreme in the mistakes, because it could be very useful in a bluff :).

no guards. sorry, but I hate them....................just putting this here to say that they shouldn't exist

with rats 2:1 ratio, guards just make a thorny problem....with one solution. leaders. and if we can counteract them in the new expansion, we'lll have people with rats, guards, and things to contradict leaders owning everything.
