 I don't like posting topics, but this is quite a big problem.
I put my account on vacation. Now I am back from my 5 day vacation, and should be able to get on my account. But that is not so. Yesterday I checked, and it said I had 12 hours to wait. Now I have checked again, and it still says I have 12 hours. There is something wrong...

 I'm sure it has to do with the changing over of servers. I haven't been getting any turns on Turbo either, so I figure it's all related.

 I recall when this happened to me a long time ago. And then I went over to a friends house and made an account there, just to check. Well people had been attacking me! I couldn't get on and I was being attacked. That is about when I quit...because I couldn't get on my account.

 Ouch... being attacked while locked out... *shudder* That's the stuff of RWL nightmares for sure!

Even worse:

You have no turns and 5 acres of land, someone attacks you with 5 million rats, and suddenly 5 million rodents pour out of your floppy drive and kill your pet hampster.

That would be scary....

 Hm. The worst thing that's ever happened to me was 57 attacks by someone with 40 times my networth. Very fun. I've also been attacked 35 times when I was online.

 Something else WORSE than that: Just becoming Empress of the game, having inherited everything from the last all-powerful Emperor, when Rank #2 pledges his complete and undying loyalty to you, and then over the weekend, he backstabs you with a barrage of stinging attacks and drops you down a few ranks. Even though I've forgiven Ragefur for that, I know I'll never quite get over it. Of course, I didn't know his title was "The Deciever" back then...

 Ah, gotta love Raggy... *snickers*

Idea: Sometime, there ought to be an oldies tournament on here, where everyone who played in the First Era plays under their old Horde name, using only the original 4 races, and with the old clans, to see how the game would end up now that we're all (presumably) better players...

*plots how she'll pester the Admins* I think that would rock...

 Ooh! Yes, that would be super cool! Thing is, we'd have to define the era for the clans. Personally, I'd love to be a DIer again.
And have all the old players back! And names! And races! (Fox forever!) Yiss!
Maybe we could play everything pre-DEX, too. B)  

NOTE: Anyone who's playing Duels VII and knew me in the first era will know my account in there. Not that I should bother to make it a secret, people find out anyway. :rolleyes:

On topic, I've had the same experience. Somehow, the vacation setting doesn't work properly, and you're locked out of your account, but it's not frozen in-game. This results in your account being deleted due to inactivity after not being able to get back in for 5 days or whatever the amount is. I had that problem in Round 2 Turbo- much hurties.

 Oooh, yesyes! That would be muchly fun! Everyone would know my account, as I had the most boring name possible back then (Ashyra's Horde). I wasn't here pre-DEX though...

If we do get to do something like that, it'll be interesting to see the outcome...we should tell some of the old crowd that we're doing this, and maybe they might pop in and join us. (Kilk, Raine, Klamath, Orcrist, Aus, Bloodrath, maybe Tania, even Josh and Germania, since we're trying to recreate the First Era.)

Urgh, my first First Era name was the Black Raiders...maybe they'll let me switch to Daughters of Delor halfway through...

 Hm. It should be a separate game, away from Regular and Turbo, or things could be confusing. And Josh should be allowed to play...  :wow!!:
