My mom tried to grow tomatos and did okay but not well enough to continue. So now we just use the farmers market.

you can grow them upside down in a 2 liter bottle from your porch. Works pretty well.

There's actually no need to drink it in one sitting as long as you have a clean fridge. If your milk is going bad overnight, you need to clean it out ^_^.

My university uses bagged milk in its main dining halls.  I would bet that most universities follow a similar approach
