Okay so I've heard G, PG, and PG-13 thus far.

Our rules state PG-13. I was under the impression that meant the same thing as PG to you. If not, I apologise, and I mean PG13.

I have expressed my desire for posts to be G-rated in the past, because realistically, a fair bit of stuff is borderline.

In complete seriousness, rating systems are arbitrary. I agree with you on keeping it appropriate, but that is a very loose guideline and is subject to mod mood swings.
