If your income is low, it's likely to prevent you from further study, from staying in good health, from contributing to the economy (retail spending), from having kids, or whatever. Things that will eventually benefit both you and the government.

Obviously, it's much more fashionable to be all independent and government hating, but your logic kinda sucks.

Unlike some other spammers, I'm  not trying to be fashionable. I don't take the aid because I don't need it. Let someone else take it. I rely on what I can save to progress in life. And, how could I speak out against the aid if I was benefiting from it? That would be hypocritical.

Most people can't afford public education, so they borrow anyways. Taking care of your body will (most of the time) keep you in good health. Contributing to the economy...I'll agree.

Holbs, I like my local government. Most of the time I can deal with my state government and I like my federal government in limited doses. As long as the three and stay mostly separate, I'm happy.
