Honestly, Kilk has a point. You named the 4 of the most douchey alcoholic drinks that exist. The only thing that could be worse is if you had mentioned a mojito. Bourbon is tasty sure, but it's primary redeeming quality is that it's a kind of whiskey. Whiskey is awesome, generally speaking, and if you consider yourself a man, you should only mention that you like whiskey when talking about liquor. (Or rum, because pirates drank rum, and pirates are awesome.) Otherwise you come off as a butt. Unless you are of Russian, Polish, Bulgarian etc. descent, in which case vodka is an acceptable substitute. But that's only if you have Slavic heritage.

thats your opinion volk, just because you think whisky is the only acceptable thing to drink really does not concern me. I usually drink a bottle of wisers white label or crown, but if it is a special occasion I will drink patron. there is a clear, higher end whisky I tried called white owl whisky, it was very decent, hardly turned my nose up at the taste. something to do with how they distill it i think. not going to pretend to know what im talking about here, because you likely already know how it is done anyways.

I only just recently tried courvoisier and found it to be pretty bitter but it did the trick for sure, a few shots and you are hammered. I dont mind black henny but I would drink a lot of things over a cognac, considering the price.

that being said, I am not some prissy rich fool that pretends to enjoy the taste of certain fine liquors, I drink to get drunk. If any of you had ever drank high end liquor you would know that it indeed gets you way more fuked up.

I drank Dom Perignon once as well for a birthday, but that was enough for me to decide it was decent, but at 220 a bottle id never personally buy it. anejo patron runs about 90 for a 750ml or 5th as you would call it, which is steep enough to only really drink on occasion. aaaand yeah, kilk and firetwat can still go fuuck themselves

oh and mojitos are absolute garbage, though I only had them at a low end cuban resort where they literally threw a mint branch into a heap of sugar and way too much rum or whatever its made with, so i didnt even finish it.

Being drunk is as much mental as it is physical. If the top shelf stuff you drank had the same proof as more bottom shelf stuff, then the only difference was your perception. Also, yes, I have drunk top shelf liquor before, but I didn't feel any more drunk than I did with bottom shelf stuff. It just tasted better going down. The only thing that gets you more drunk is high-proof liquor.

Oh, and while you say you aren't a prissy rich fool or whatever, that's what you SOUND like. "I drink these expensive liquors so I must be sooooo cool". That's the vibe I am getting from every post you make.

Last, no, that's not just my opinion, that's pretty much every guy's opinion about whiskey.
