Grammatical things that are important:

a/an. You use "an" if the next word begins with a vowel sound.

An interesting explanation. A bad explanation.

your/you're. "You're" is a contraction. If "you are" doesn't make sense in the context of the sentence, you probably want the other one.

Any writing you do will help make you better. Like anything else, practice is important.

George Orwell said some interesting things about writing:
