i was dubious about a movie version of les mis because that is how i am
but i saw the trailer yesterday and it actually looks AMAZING.
this may or may not have been bc i rewatched the movie version of Carmen last night and remembered that these things are generally amazing when done right.
although les mis will not include placido domingo, so i am not completely convinced :/
