It fortunately went north of me; the storm system made for a dreary weekend and a damp commute this morning but otherwise nada.

Looks like its hitting the North East pretty hard though

It's hitting right where I'm stationed in Cape May NJ. Fortunately I ditched out of there Saturday afternoon and drove the 9 hrs to Charlotte NC.
Fortunate bc both the base and probably my house are underwater atm.
and it hits like a brick to the back of your head. like, goodbye, five times.
one for each finger.
and you say,

and all i ever say is,
"i'm tired."

Power went out for 5 hours during the night, I was asleep.

My mom stayed up all night and posted Facebook updates.

It has been a rather damp week in Pittsburgh, though no classes were cancled.  Friends going to Penn state got off though, one even posted a picture on facebook of him doing homework by the light of a lantern
