Would you consider having a robot as a wife/husband?

Depends on the alien. Is it some blob of energy or what? Also we would have to be more advanced before such relationships were safe, otherwise they may try to enslave us.

Not even a robot so advanced that you could never tell it from a human and it was self aware so it had feelings, opinions, thoughts, memories, and could learn and all that stuff?
