Okay, you are hereby Spa's sole military component until we get the other things sorted.

Why not be Sky Marshal? That's the highest military position in the glorious Federation and it really needs to be filled!

The Federation is a galactic government, you'll be on starships and stuff. I don't think the vacuum of space is something to fear. You lead all the branches of the military.
