I'd rip Lucy apart at indy, she's just got the best rep for consistency. Best indier is between me Ryu or Snare. Shadows pretty good aswell

To define the best you gotta weigh up a bunch of combinations. Last non leader round I was emperor for 20days but I passed most that net to Pippin for a massive win. Overall you gotta take into account if they can defend themselves with or without a team. How well they manage costs and production over the destruction they dish out. Customizing standard attacks can save tonnes of troops if you hit with the right lines instead of sending all.

I've played with Ryu, and I don't remember him being all that amazing, to be honest. The best indier is probably still Juska.
