I don't really understand what this whole role playing thing is. Is this supposed to be a showcase of writing ability? Anyone care to explain how one goes about role playing?

what we often do here in role-play is tell stories from different characters perspectivies.  come up with and idea post a sign up and see who all gets involved.  Setting, themes, small back story of the adventure all help.

If you go back in the history, look for an RP called The Mansion, that should give you an idea of what we do here :)

well, you can collaborate with someone and tell them what the story is about and how you want it to go. They might make some edits, but go with the flow
