 You see, A Pokemon gains a certain amount of HP per level. If you use an HP Up on a level 5 Charmander, it will have gained an extra of about 95 more HP than it normally would have. This means you could have like a 500HP Charizard.

 There is a certain amount of HP a Charizard can have. It is under 400. If it is over 400, the game will turn funny...
