March 2: adjusted food output to $15 per food given markets = foragers and 50-50 eco settings.

What do you mean by $15? Like, it costs 15 dollars from the mercs? I'm confused  ???

I mean that all things being equal, a race with 0 bonuses to everything and half markets, half foragers at 50% cash and 50% food settings, would produce 1 food for every $15.

Put another way, say for example you put all your land on foragers, and put your economics settings on 100% food, and you produced x food. If you then switched to all markets, and 100% cash settings, at the same tax rate, you would now produce 15x cash in the same number of turns.

Put yet another way, it means that a painted one is making a profit as long as he sells food for more than $15 dollars apiece, and is losing money if he sells for less.
