Marten strategy

I've been looking for one, but I haven;t found one anywhere. Can someone tell me the marten strategy?

build all huts, and earn loyalty while scraping up land. After being hit down to 175 leaders/land, cast goldmine with all of your turns.

HAHAHHA. Yeah but when you get a batch of cash be sure to get a big landgrab with leaders then rebuild camps to ratio and buy cheap.
If you're in a clan, bleed it out towards an indier like a cuddler.

In point 3 0 for a marten you'd be best off breaking everyone with stoats and making cash with 60% markets, 10% tents 30% leaders on high tax and worker count. Rely on the public market or get crushed. If you're fancy you can save the last turns to demo markets and indy from low tax before spending.

Team Marten involves distributing a large amount of cash to your teammates.

It also involves scraping a very large amount of land, I recall playing marten like an indy (in terms of attacks), because constantly casting goldmine is a huge loyalty drain.

I personally used my cash to buy rats at the start of my run, as the server was strangely weak to rats, and attacked with those to gain land. Also, doing the standard loyalty run/casting run may not be the best idea. You could simply run with 20% barracks on one race type, and follow up 2-3 loyalty runs to horde loyalty. Before you start casting, get rid of your troops, because their upkeep is going to be annoying.

Aside from that, Martens follow the  incredibly simply leader strategy which nearly every leader player uses to some extent.

P.S. Pure leadering is no longer plausible in 3.0, why don't you try an industrial build instead?

Haha, I'm assuming that the admins will eventually update regular to 3.0. Rakefur, is that assumption reasonable?

I think the plan was to make another server, and rename reg, "classic".
